After announcing that the Dignitas CS:GO team would be leaving the organisation team coach Casper "ruggah" Due revealed that they were offered a good deal to stay.

“As was announced earlier today, we are not re-signing with Team Dignitas when our contracts expire the 31st of December,” said ruggah in a TwitLonger post. “We were offered a very competitive deal but after negotiating for weeks we mutually agreed that it was time to part ways. Instead we’ve decided to commit our future elsewhere in esports.”

It is currently unknown exactly what the team will do, some are speculating that they received a better offer from another organisation while others are saying that they may become the next player owned organisation like Astralis. We do know that they will still be competing at the ELEAGUE Major, under their new name, in January.

“We would like to thank Team Dignitas for our time in the black and yellow jersey, we’ve all gotten memories for life when being part of Dignitas whether it being tough losses like ESL Cologne or wins as at EPICENTER,” continued ruggah. “We will be more specific about our future in January. Until then, thanks for everything Dignitas.”
