After a long period of instability in the Fnatic Dota 2 camp, the organisation has finally announced its new roster, and on paper it looks incredibly strong.
With long time member of the team Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung leaving to join Mineski a few months back Fnatic was left without a roster for the Kiev Major qualifiers. They have taken their time rebuilding, but this week announced a new roster that features Galvin “Meracle” Kang Jian Wen, Kim “QO” Seon-yeop, Chong Xin “Ohaiyo” Khoo, Djardel Jicko B. “DJ” Mampusti and Kim “Febby” Yong-min.
While the roster is yet to play any official matches together it does appear to be one of the stronger teams in the SEA region. All of the players have played on top teams before, and almost all of them have experience of playing at The International. Meracle has long been tipped as the next big star from the region, but he has never been able to find a place in a stable top tier team.
The new roster will be playing in the qualifiers for The Summit 7, which are due to kick off tomorrow. This means it won’t be long before we get to see how they stack up against the best teams in SEA.
