Two time Dota 2 major winners OG part ways after disappointing performance at TI

Arguably the most successful Dota 2 team over the last 12 months, OG, have parted ways, with just two players staying on the team.

After a disappointing 9th-12th place finish at The International 6 Amer “Miracle-” Barqawi, David “MoonMeander” Tan and Andreas “Cr1t-” Franck Nielsen have all left the team, leaving only Tal “Fly” Aizik and Johan “N0tail” Sundstein signed to the organisation that they founded late last year.

A post on the team’s Facebook page stated that both Miracle- and Cr1t- decided to leave the team to pursue other opportunities, while MoonMeander was removed from the starting lineup by the remaining team members.

“I am very appreciative for the past season that I shared with the 4 players on OG,” said Cr1t-. “We accomplished something few would have expected and it was the dream start to my career. I will forever cherish this last year and it’s with mixed feelings that I move on and continue to develop my career that all begun with OG. I hope that the fans that followed us and cheered for us will keep following me on my new endeavours. Shoutout to all my former teammates as well as Evany our manager and coach Seb.”

The team is yet to announce any replacement players, but with the traditional post TI roster shuffle in full swing it should only be a matter of days before we get some news.
