Valve has revealed the dates and location of The International 7.
The main event of the competition will again return to Seattle’s Key Arena between August 7th and 12th. This will be preceded by a group stage presumably taking place the week before.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on April 4th, although prices have again increased. A midweek ticket will cost $100 while a ticket for the final two days will cost a massive $200, causing a lot of fans to say this is too expensive. It certainly looks a little silly when you consider tickets for the upcoming Kiev Major cost around $5 per day.
For teams to make it to TI they will either have to be invited, or make it through one of the qualifiers. The open qualifiers for the event will take place between June 22nd and 25th with the regionals being held between June 26th and 29th.
