FACEIT has announced that it is bringing the finals of its ECS Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition to Wembley Arena for the second time.
The first season of the ECS competition concluded at the Wembley Arena last year, with French side G2 Esports taking home the trophy. The season two finals were held over in California, but for season three the competition is coming back to the UK.
The season three finals will see the top teams from the European and North American leagues head to Wembley arena to compete for the championship between June 23rd and 25th. They will be competing for a share of the $750,000 prize pool up for grabs.
Tickets for the event will set you back £12.99, with premium tickets that give better seating and some promotional material costing £40. Anyone who has a valid student ID will be able to get 50% off standard tickets.
“We’re thrilled to bring the excitement of the ECS Finals back to Wembley in London,” said Michele Attisani, CBO and co-founder of FACEIT. “After an epic Finals in Southern California in Season Two, we’re looking forward to hosting Europe’s esports fans for the culmination of ECS Season Three.”
