MLG Las Vegas to be streamed on YouTube and MLGTV, no sign of Twitch

MLG has announced that it has partnered with YouTube to broadcast the MLG Las Vegas Call of Duty and Overwatch tournament this weekend.

Matches, news, and analysis from the event will be shown on the MLG YouTube channel throughout the weekend, along with a stream on the MLG EVE player that gives viewers direct control over what they want to see.

Annoyingly there has been no mention of a Twitch stream, which seems to suggest that the event will not be broadcast at all on Twitch. MLG and Twitch do have a history of not working together, a few years back MLG signed all major CoD pros to contacts that only allowed them to stream on MLGTV and as a result pro Call of Duty was absent from Twitch for years. This was rectified last year with the introduction of the Call of Duty World League, but with MLG once again running the show this is a worrying move.

Vegas will feature the best Overwatch teams in the world battling out for $100,000 while on the Call of Duty side hundreds of teams will be competing in the first CWL Open event of the new season.
